I have decided that the next cat I get will be named "Shizzle" and it will be black. That is all :3

Today, there was some singer named Cindy Lauper in the Maru Cube part of the Maru building. The last strange/vaguely interesting thing they had in that area was a baby mammoth, and before that an a capella group around Christmas time. Yusuke kept trying to trick me into speaking Japanese tonight, but I HATE when people are like "You speak Japanese? SAY SOMETHING, MONKEY!" No. I will not say anything. You bitch.
I made Apache work somehow MAGICALLY on my computer today, and my Harvest Moon strategy book came. :3 Me so happeh! Now, to buy a cow or a stove to further the story, THAT is the question. Maybe I'll plant more tomatoes....

Chibita has a stuffed shark that we use to play with him because he has stabby claws. Anyways, I was playing with him and then Ayaka walked over, so I had to stop in case he attacked her. She took the shark from me and started repeatedly throwing it at the cat. Chibita ran away in shame.
In other news, Happy Mothers' Day :3 I got my mom some flowers from the internettttt, and if they don't arrive on time, I'm going to be very very sad. I also got Makiko a bunch of sunflowers because she loves them. They're pretties. We had pizza for dinners tonight....my burps taste delicious :3
I also learned that Japanese people have never had drinks at dinner until after western culture influenced meals, which makes lots of sense. Normally, they have miso soup and have tea afterwards.

Ayaka and Chibita are mortal enemies. Well, cats and babies have always been mortal enemies, but that's besides the point. Today, Ayaka took the rivalry to a whole new level by dropping a phone on Chibita's head. Chibita just took it like a man. Well, Chibita takes a lot of things like a man, like letting me turn him into a flower alien, but that's besides the point.

See? He's beautiful.

Danielle and I went on a journey to Harajuku today because she wanted beautiful clothing and I wanted....things. Yes. I bought beautiful Janne Da Arc paraphernalia, but that's besides the point.
We started off walking down Omotesando to get to the Citibank ATMs they have there, and as we draw closer and closer to the street, we realize there's some kind of crazy-assed and obnoxious protest by the nationalists up where Omotesando meets Yoyogi park.
We can never really figure out what it is the Nationalists want - as far as we can tell, at previous protests, they have been talking about how important it is for Japan to get Sakhalin back from Russia. Of course, nobody cares, and like hell Russia will give it back. But today, it seems the Nationalists were very, very upset at the Free Tibet protesters. They were shrieking in their vans down Omotesando and sounded rather like demons. Thankfully, they went away, so we watched the Free Tibet protesters some more. They were quite friendly and wonderful.

Sorry the pictures are so teeny; I only had my cell camera.
Anyways, I was looking to find out what exactly the Nationalists were bitching about, only to find them not mentioned EVER in the news because nobody loves them...or something to that effect.
In other news, this week is "kill yourself by mixing detergents" week in Japan. This explains why the Chuo has not been delayed by suicide jumpers. But most of the people who have killed themselves with the gas have been decent enough to write signs warning others not to come near because of the gas.
Yay Japan!

Okay, so today was a guide book for my harvest moon game. It was only 1600 yen from amazon and free shipping because it was over 1500 yen, so whee! I was tempted to do COD but then I remembered that UWCU is going to kill my debit card if I don't use it at least once, so I used it. And pie. And the exchange rate is recovering! I'm happy :D
Today, Makiko and Takuya were sickies, so I didn't have as much time as I wanted to play Harvest Moon because Madoka was clinging to me while they were napping. We just watched a lot of DVDs - Spongebob and Winne the Pooh. The Pooh video was one that I had watched a billion times when I was younger, so watching it made me happy.
Mmm...peach soda :3
I was able to switch my seats on the plane home, but I'm still going to check every day to see if I can get something in aisle 30 because it has the most legroom. :3 Mwehehehee

Wheee I bought new headphones today! They're wonderful - a pair of Sony MDR-D333LW. They're white and have a not-plastic retractable cord. The only thing that made me a little hesitant about buying them was the top part - it kinda folds. If they break, I'm going to be sad and pissed. They were about 5,000 yen. :o A lot of the other headphones had really really unbalanced bass and it made me sad...either that or they were way out of my price range. For some reason, I kept falling in ones that were 50,000 yen O.o;; I'm a mostar!!
Okay, and does anyone know of the Japanese equivalent of gamefaqs? I keep searching for walkthroughs and all I get is books - I might have to suck it up and buy one. *pouts*

Yesterday was an emo day and I'm not going to talk about it.
I woke up late today and subsequently did not make it to Econ class....oh well.
Danielle and I are trying to plot one more trip together, either to Okinawa or to Hiroshima. We're still kind of flip-flopping on both and we will eventually pick one that is cheaper. I really want to go to the aquarium in Okinawa, and it's cheaper to get there...but then there's Hiroshima. And yes. Maybe we'll end up there instead. We don't even know if we can go yet o.

Today is Ayaka's birthday and she's one! I took some pictures and I'll post them later, but it just consisted of her noming on cake XD Makiko had Madoka and I make the world's most AMAZING CAKE EVER that was like a huge crepe cake full of bananas and strawberries and tofu cream :3 Madoka put huge strawberries on top of it and it was beautiful.
I gave Ayaka her present that she can't use yet because she has no hair - cute little star hairpieces. Madoka was jealous and wanted them, so I'll get her a pair like that for her birthday next month. We ate the amazing cake of delicious wonders and sang Happy Birthday to Ayaka. She clapped for herself at the end of the song, it was so cute!
And now I'm beating flash with a stick. The end!!

I was really upset because the cheap flight from yesterday was gone all of today, and my credit card was being slow and dumb and refusing to clear, but then the otousan gave me monies and POOF! there were more deals on the website, so I got my return ticket for less than $800 and also this sentence is very long. The end of that sentence!
I'll post my flight info when the time draws near, but I'm flying into Green Bay on August 4th. Whee!
